How do I take an advance before starting work?
Issue a proforma invoice or milestone payment request so clients can pay an advance deposit before work begins.
Step-by-step instructions
- 1From an open quote, tap Request payment on the advance milestone.
- 2Alternatively, open Financials → Proformas and tap New proforma.
- 3Choose the Client and add the line items with rate, quantity, and GST percentage.
- 4Tap Create proforma.
- 5Tap the Share icon, then WhatsApp or Copy, to send the payment link to your client.
Good to know
- When the advance is paid, Clyrix automatically raises a tax invoice for the exact amount received.
